Quieter comparing to the one closing to east gate.
We were arranged into the building of Kikie's homebase ii. It is actually a room for three persons not just for two as we booked, the toilette flushing system is purelly manual one as you may see in other country like Burmer, which means you need to collect water separately and flush it one bowl by one bowl. Enjoy it! So, make sure you know where to arrange you before going there as you can never see the real pictures there, they put the beautiful one there which has nothing to do the one you may stay. And if you argue for that, they will claim everywhere fully booked, what you expect they do for you or they may suggest you seek for better one.

The price is affordable for every backpacker and, the host is quite nice
I don't think the location is very convenient, then the bed was so hard for me ;). further more, a man who is the poles snores all night long......

Cheap and room was simple but clean with basic amenities.
I stayed at the home base (2nd building) and not the guest house so I didn't really get a chance to mingle with others which was something I was interested in looking at the many reviews. It was also a place that many people didn't seem to know about, including the staff in charge of taxi service at the airport and the cab driver and it took me a very long time to get to the place. Advise that you tell them the landmark Wat Chiang Man cos it's very near there.

The room in the dependance was for backpackers good.
If you cannot handle the heat, go out the kitchen.

The owner and all the staff were really friendly and very helpful. It was a nice, clean, relaxed place, in a fantastic location for sightseeing and eating and overall just a great place to stay.
Nothing. It was everything we wanted out of a hostel/guesthouse.

Kiki and Marco were very friendly and helpful, willing to do more for us than any guesthouse owners we've met. The rooms were very clean, basic, and excellent value. The location was perfect.

The young couple keeping the guesthouse are very nice and friendly. The hostel is cosy and clean. its near the main streets but still on a more quite lane away from the traffic. I didnt imagine You could get something this nice for such a low price! Can highly recommend.

I arrived here, feeling apprehensive about travelling alone. I need not have worried. I was made to feel really welcome by Kikie and Marco as well as by the other guests. The guest house has a warm, happy vibe thanks to them. My room was lovely - clean, comfy bed and hot shower - and fantastic value for only 350 bhat. It's the best guesthouse I've used in Thailand.
The truck drivers don't know where it is yet as it's new (I'm sure that will change!) and the map on Booked.net is not massively helpful.
